Chelter Short Surf Film Fest

The Chelter Short Surf Film Fest is all about local waves, weird weather, and the sic stories that come with them. Our first edition will spotlight our homegrown talent — the surfers, filmmakers, and daydreamers who brave cold water and river currents to capture the soul of our community. These films and everyone’s footage is made to be shared, shown, and maybe even heckled a little (with love of course).

Films will be shown across three loose categories:

• Artsy (for the visual poets),
• Creative (for the out-of-the-box thinkers), and
• Offbeat (for the funny, odd, and slightly unhinged).
